Hi, I'm Vinka — a PhD candidate in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at Ohio State University.
My research focuses on development economics and economic demography, with a particular emphasis on the elderly, women, and children. My current work examines policies on eldercare and childcare. I am also a member of the research team on an ongoing randomized controlled trial in Kenya that seeks to improve childcare quality through social franchising — the QuiCK Project.
In my free time, I enjoy doing Lagree, going for walks, and watching movies.
